Mistaken As England's Hero Of Euro 2022 Women's Victory, TikTok Users Transferred To British Airways Business Class

JAKARTA - A supporter of the England women's national team got lucky on a flight after the final of Euro 2022. TikTok user named Sophie was transferred to business class service by British Airways flight attendants after being mistaken for The Three Lions player Chloe Kelly.

Chloe Kelly was the scorer of the victory when England beat Germany 2-1 in the final contra on Sunday, 31 July. The goal also made the Queen Elizabeth State team win their first trophy at the event.

In the video circulating, a flight attendant is seen approaching Sophie, who happens to be wearing an England national team costume. The flight attendant then engaged in a conversation with Sophie.

"You look like the girl (Chloe Kelly) who scored a goal," said the flight attendant which made Sophie unable to hide her excitement.

"That's the best compliment you could possibly give me," Sophie replied.

In the video recorded by Sophie, you can see the luxury that the airline offers. "Is this what it's like to be Chloe Kelly?" Sophie wrote in the video's caption.

"So I got free service to business class and the flight attendant thought I was Chloe Kelly," another caption read.

Scoring the winning goal in the final made Kelly's name skyrocket among British fans. Many have jokingly suggested the 24-year-old should become Britain's next prime minister.

Fans were further blown away after Kelly shortened his post-match interview to join the team's celebrations to celebrate their win.
