When The Public Has A Polemic About Who Is The Best Between Messi And Mbappe, Pochettino Is Not Difficult To Make A Choice

JAKARTA - Lately there has been a debate about who is the best player in the world between Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe. Of course, both have their respective bases of support.

However, for Mauricio Pochettino who had coached both at Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), it is not too difficult to determine who is the best between the two.

"For me Messi is the best in the world. There is no doubt. He is physically in his best condition and I think age is something anecdotal," said Pochettino, as reported by the Daily Star.

"I think he has the energy and ability to lead and reach the World Cup in optimal conditions. I am lucky, thanks to football, to have lived so many moments with Leo at this time."

Pochettino added: "After that it was clear that Mbappe was a candidate to be able to receive the nickname. There was Neymar, who for me is also one of the best players in the world."

Meanwhile, Pochettino also commented on the rumors of Mbappe who was the source of him being fired from PSG. Mbappe is rumored to have a new role in the team, which gives him more authority in the decision-making process.

The former Tottenham Hotspur manager dismissed these rumors. Pochettino does not think Mbappe is the one who designed a new project at the Ligue 1 giants.

"Those who govern, in this case the president, are those who will think the most comfortable thing is to create a new project within the club," he said.
