Guardiola Spray FA And Premier League For Kane And Rashford Injuries

JAKARTA - Pep Guardiola considers football brokers to have damaged England's chances of success at Euro 2020. The busy match schedule has injured a number of the national team's mainstay players.

England strikers Harry Kane and Marcus Rashford have had to be sidelined for long periods of time. The two of them will have to fight hard to reach the perfect fitness level ahead of this summer's tournament.

Tottenham Hotspur captain Kane had a torn tendon in his hamstring and required surgery. Meanwhile, Manchester United forward Rashford suffered a fracture in his spine.

Manchester City boss Guardiola believes the Football Association and the Premier League are to blame for the injuries sustained by the Three Lions' two important players. You see, they are required to play in many matches. Guardiola further called for the Carabao Cup to be scrapped.

"I have great sympathy for Kane and Rashford, but we demand a lot from the players, (the match) is too much," said Guardiola, reported mirror.co.uk, Tuesday, January 21.

"The players deserve to be treated as they should, so that they perform at their best. (Their best game) is unsustainable. The players collapsed. This (match) is too much. They (the authorities) have to reflect on it, all the managers complain about it and they don't care, "the Spaniard explained.

The players are suffering, continued the former Bayern Munich coach. They push themselves, but the body says stop. The players arrived at the Euros, played with the national team, tried their best, then returned to England after no more than 20 days on business.

"They can't do anything, the competition has to continue. With that number of games, the players are injured. I'm not surprised. I have a lot of sympathy for them," said Pep.
