Chonburi Highlights Field Conditions At The Pride Stadium Of Anies Baswedan JIS, Persija Jakarta Midfielder: There Are Some Players Still Needing To Adapt

JAKARTA - Thai club Chonburi FC highlighted the condition of the field at the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS). Coach Chonburi said the contours of the JIS field were still hard.

Persija Jakarta midfielder, Hanif Sjahbandi, has a different view. He said the stadium field that was the pride of the Governor of DKI Jakarta, Anies Baswedan, was already good.

"Although there are some players who still have to adapt to their conditions," Hanif said as quoted by Antara.

The JIS field uses solid grass or hybrid grass. Five percent of the grass is artificial (synthetic) type "limonta" and the rest is natural grass from the Zoysia matrella species originating from Boyolali, Central Java.

Hanif then assessed that JIS has a magnificent tribune. He also revealed that the changing room at the stadium, which is located in North Jakarta, has a swimming pool or Jacuzzi.

"For JIS, the quality is very good," he said.

Please note, JIS is counted as a new stadium in Indonesia. The stadium has a capacity of 82 thousand spectators and the construction process took three years.

The new JIS was inaugurated on Sunday, July 24. One of the series of events is a friendly match between Persija Jakarta and Chonburi FC.

Both teams drew with a score of 3-3 in the match. Persija Jakarta goals were scored by Riko Simanjuntak (2 goals) and Taufik Hidayat. Meanwhile, the visitors' goals were scored by Yoo Byung-soo (2 goals) and Danilo.
