Alex Marquez And Fabio Di Giannantonio Strengthen Gresini Racing In MotoGP 2023, Happy Sponsors

JAKARTA - Federal Oil as the sponsor of the Gresini Racing MotoGP Team enthusiastically welcomed the racing duo of Alex Marquez and Fabio Di Giannantonio (Diggia) for the 2023 MotoGP racing season.

It has been confirmed that Alex Marquez, who is also the younger brother of racer Marc Marquez, will replace Enea Bastianini, who will have a career with the Ducati manufacturing team.

Sri Adinegara as Market Development Director of PT ExxonMobil Lubricants Indonesia (PT EMLI), in a written statement in Jakarta, Saturday, believes that Alex and Diggia will together make MotoGP fans in Indonesia proud in the 2023 racing season.

"Both of them will be the best combination to make MotoGP fans in Indonesia proud and compete for the title of MotoGP World Champion for the 2023 season," said Sri Adinegara as quoted by Antara.

The owner of the Gresini Racing MotoGP Team, Nadia Padovani, said he was very happy with the involvement of Alex Marquez as a racer for the 2023 season.

And, for the continuation of the collaboration with Fabio Di Giannantonio who is able to show the best talent and positive development as a rookie in the 2022 racing season.

"We want to see and compare him with experienced riders, and it seems that Alex Marquez is very suitable for our team. His career record shows good results," he said.

"We think he has potential and the Desmosedici machine will suit his new experience. Welcome to the family, Alex," said Nadia.

Meanwhile, Alex, who will join the Gresini Racing MotoGP Team next year, said he was very happy and couldn't wait to face a new adventure.

"This is the best choice for me, with a team that is ready to make history in this championship. Thank you to Nadia, Carlo, all Gresini Racing staff and sponsors for trusting me," said Alex.

Likewise, Diggia admitted that he was happy with the continuation with the Gresini Racing MotoGP Team because he still believed in himself until the 2023 MotoGP season.
