Michael Chandler Wants To Challenge Conor McGregor If Really Ready To Return To The Octagon: This Is The Biggest Fight

JAKARTA - UFC fighter, Michael Chandler, challenges Conor McGregor. He wanted to recreate the MMA fight of the century with McGregor.

McGregor has been out for a long time following a broken leg. He is reportedly ready to return to the octagon after returning to his prime physical condition.

While Chandler has recently been in the spotlight. This is thanks to a sensational victory over Tony Ferguson in stunning style.

"If Conor returns anytime soon, I think Conor and I will be making fireworks and this is a fight the fans want to see," Chandler told TMZ.

"I think this is the biggest fight we can do in mixed martial arts right now and I try to put it as low as possible, but I think it's a big fight," he continued.

Chandler signed with the UFC in 2021. The 36-year-old fighter has won two of his four fights.

He caused a stir in the lightweight division last May after his shot brutally brought down Ferguson. The kick made Ferguson almost unrecognizable.

McGregor opened the door to take on Chandler afterwards, but the American wasn't sure when a potential fight could come to fruition.

Chandler admits McGregor's injury will take a long time to heal. He said it was not a small injury that could recover quickly.

"The guy really broke his leg and that was really just a year ago. Whether he will be back in time, we also don't know the extent of Conor's injury."
