JAKARTA - Liverpool midfielder Fabinho has warned his wife Rebeca Tavares to be more careful with social media. In fact, he did not know for sure what his wife uploaded.

Tavares is known to be very active on the Twitter platform. She regularly interacts with Reds fans after for the last four years being a supporter of the team her husband defended.

"I don't really like Twitter, it's not for me, but sometimes I hear that he uploads something," Fabinho told The Athletic, quoted by The Sun.

"I always say, 'Rebeca, be careful what you post (on social media)!'" the Brazil international said, adding.

Fabinho actually does not know most of the contents of his wife's tweets because he is not active on social media. However, he could feel that so far the Reds fans 'love' his wife.

"I wasn't there (Twitter). So, I didn't see most of (the content of his tweets). But the fans seemed to love him. So, yeah, all is well," he said.

Fabinho met Tavares while he was playing for Real Madrid on loan from Rio Ave. The 28-year-old was in the Spanish capital between 2012 and 2013.

After leaving Madrid, Fabinho moved to AS Monaco on loan before being made permanent. He was then signed by Liverpool in the 2018 summer transfer window.
