Juventus Agrees To Sell Matthijs De Ligt To Bayern Munich For IDR 1.2 Trillion, The Money Will Be Used To Buy Pau Torres And Nicolo Zaniolo

JAKARTA - Juventus have reportedly reached an agreement with Bayern Munich regarding Matthijs de Ligt. The player will be transferred for a value of up to 80 million euros (about IDR 1.2 trillion).

De Ligt has reportedly flown to Germany to undergo a medical and complete the administrative process so that the transfer can be completed in the near future, according to several Italian media.

Bayern Munich won the battle with Chelsea who are also interested in the Dutch defender. De Ligt seems to have his own reasons why he finally chose to take part in Germany instead of appearing in the elite competition, the English Premier League.

Meanwhile, Juventus are now busy looking for a replacement. Several names are already on the wanted list.

However, Villarreal defender Pau Torres was mentioned as the main candidate. In fact, it is reported that there has been communication between Juventus and Villarreal.

As Reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the player's price reaches 50 million euros (Rp 757 billion). However, Juventus asked for a discount to the Spanish La Liga club. The Old Lady only wants to spend 30 million euros for Pau Torres.

Later, the funds to buy Pau Torres were taken from the sale of De Ligt. The rest will be bought by other new players.

Santer, the remaining funds will be used by Juventus to buy Nicolo Zaniolo from AS Roma. The 23-year-old has indeed become one of the priority targets of Massimiliano Allegri's club.
