Criticized By Floyd Mayweather Jr For Constantly Badmouthing Canelo Alvarez, Ryan Garcia: Only The Avengers Can Stop Me

JAKARTA - Boxer from the United States, Ryan Garcia, has been criticized by Floyd Mayweather Jr for being involved in a commentary war with Canelo Alvarez. However, the criticism from Mayweather Jr. seems to be ignored by Garcia.

He admitted, will continue to "attack" Canelo. Garcia says only The Avengers can stop him now.

Actually Canelo's relationship with Garcia was fine. In fact, the 23-year-old boxer was mentored by Canelo when they were both coached by Eddy Reynoso and became part of Golden Boy Promotions.

But their relationship has now turned hot after Garcia took time off from the ring. The decision was due to mental health issues following a knockout win over Luke Campbell in 2021.

Though the victory extended his unbeaten run to 22-0. Garcia's decision prompted Canelo to criticize him. He called Garcia a lack of discipline.

Garcia hit back at the criticism by upsetting his former friend. He predicts Canelo will lose to Gennady Golovkin in their upcoming trilogy fight.

This statement made Mayweather commented. He criticized Garcia's attitude at first praising Canelo, now turning to attack him.

"You look at Ryan Garcia. First he praised Canelo, wanted to learn from Canelo, at Canelo's training camp. Now everyone hates it," said Mayweather.

"One thing about Canelo, he will step up and do what he has to do. He will fight."

In response to the statement, Garcia insisted that nothing would stop him from speaking ill of Canelo. "They need the Avengers to stop me, they need the Avengers to stop me talking," Garcia told Fight Hype.

"It could be Floyd, it could be Canelo, include all the great fighters, they need all of them. They can't stop me."

Garcia is currently preparing for the toughest test of his career Saturday, July 16, in Los Angeles. He will fight WBA super featherweight champion Javier Fortuna.
