The Last Episode Of Paul Pogba's Fate, Officially Returns To Juventus From Manchester United

JAKARTA - Paul Pogba has officially rejoined Juventus on a free transfer from Manchester United. On this second occasion, Pogba got a new contract for four seasons.

Pogba had previously arrived in Turin, Juventus headquarters, on Friday, July 8, for a medical examination. His move was only announced on Monday, July 11, after all the processes were completed.

Welcoming Pogba back to the club, Juventus said that even though they were separated, they always had a place for the player.

"When we say goodbye after the intense adventure we have shared together, there is always a glimmer of hope that we will meet again, sooner or later," the club said in a statement.

“He left as a boy and came back a man and a champion, but one thing has not changed, the desire to write unforgettable pages of the club's history together once again. Pogba is back and we couldn't be happier."

Prior to his second return to Turin, the French midfielder had won two Serie A titles with Juventus. He then broke a world record transfer worth £89 million or IDR 1.5 trillion in 2016.

At his old club, Manchester United Pogba has not featured since last April after struggling with injury.

Towards the end of his contract with the Red Devils, Pogba did not find an agreement with the club. The 29-year-old player then decided to leave.

Pogba is actually a Manchester United academy player who has joined since 2009. Was released for lack of contribution, he then returned when Manchester United was handled by Jose Mourinho.
