JAKARTA - Arsenal defender David Luiz has made a rapid recovery from a thigh injury and will be back in the squad for the Europa League match against Molde on Friday morning, manager Mikel Arteta said as quoted by Reuters on Thursday.
Luiz missed Arsenal's wins against Dundalk and Manchester United after picking up injury in the first half in a 0-1 loss to Leicester City on 25 October.
"He is available to play and has been training well over the last few days ... he will be in the squad," Arteta told reporters.
"You will see some changes again. We have to manage the minute and the exposure we give the players. We have to think about what we need right now, as well as looking forward."
Arteta said his players had high confidence following the win over United but he expected a tough test from the Norwegian club, who are on six points as Arsenal in the Europa League Group B standings.
"Going to a stadium like Old Trafford and playing with the courage we showed, is a big addition in terms of confidence and confidence. But now we have to play like that often," continued Arteta.
"He will need it because Molde will be really competitive ... The schedule is so tight at the moment and this is probably the most difficult team we have faced in this competition."
