Producer Of Mexican Controversy Interested In Making TV Show About Barcelona Defender Gerard Pique And His Ex-Partner Shakira

JAKARTA - Gerard Pique and Shakira have rocked the world of show business since they split after a 12-year relationship.

The situation has damaged the public image of both the Colombian singer and the Barcelona centre-back, leading to the possibility of a television programme.

Mexican soap opera producer Juan Osorio has spoken openly about the idea. Osorio has caused controversy in the past after creating a bioseries of Vicente Fernandez, which the singer did not authorize.

In a conversation with Eden Dorantes, the Mexican producer revealed that the lives of Pique and Shakira could attract public attention.

He was even more clear in stating that he would love to work on this project.

"Imagine a series about Pique and Shakira, each on their own and then how they get together and have two babies, and their lives, and then the breakup - it's strong, I wanted to make it," Osorio was quoted as saying by Marca, Wednesday.

He revealed, for a producer, it is necessary to always think of new ideas and concepts, in an era where content is increasingly demanded by the audience.
