JAKARTA - The 2022 AFF U-19 Cup will start soon. The U-19 Indonesian National Team hosted the event with venues in Jakarta and Bekasi.

At the 2022 AFF U-19 Cup, Indonesia is in Group A with Vietnam, Thailand, Myanmar, the Philippines and Brunei Darussalam. Garuda Muda will be faced with a busy schedule.

Shin Tae-yong's team is scheduled to have a match every two days. The schedule starts from 2-10 July.

On the first day, Saturday, July 2, the Indonesian national team was first scheduled to face Vietnam. Two days later, Garuda Muda will meet Brunei Darussalam. Furthermore, Thailand, the Philippines and Myanmar will be opponents.

Indonesia's chance to qualify for the next round is quite difficult. Considering that there are Vietnam and Thailand that will be obstacles.

Last time, Indonesia managed to close this tournament with the title of champion. That moment occurred in the 2013 edition where at that time the U-19 national team squad was under the tutelage of coach Indra Sjafri.
