Fabio Quartararo Feels On The Right Track To Defend MotoGP World Title

JAKARTA - Monster Yamaha Racing Team racer, Fabio Quartararo, is a strong candidate for the 2022 MotoGP title. Currently, the appearance of the French racer is the most consistent.

Fabio Quartararo currently leads the drivers' standings with 147 points. Of the nine races, he has been on the podium four times, two of which were champions.

Fabio Quartararo is the only rider who has never been knocked out of the top 10. In fact, he is one of the drivers who has never fallen or failed to finish.

The 23-year-old rider admits he is on the right track to defending the MotoGP world title. He hopes to continue to appear consistent.

"Yes, this is the right path. You can fight for the title with consistent results at the top," said Quartararo as reported by Speedweek.

However, Quartararo is aware that this result will be difficult to maintain. The reason is, the rivals also appear extraordinary like the former Speed Up Racing racer.

"However, it will not be easy to achieve this result in the future. My opponent is very, very strong," he said.

"I couldn't win Mugello, although I could have been a little bit faster. We lost too much in terms of acceleration and top speed," continued Quartararo.

To maintain his position at the top of the standings, Quartararo already has a strategy. He admitted that he always wanted to be in the front position or grid at the start.

"My plan is to give it my all in the first five laps and then see what happens," said Fabio Quartararo.
