Alvaro Morata Feels Distrusted By Chelsea Players

MADRID - Alvaro Morata looks at home at Atletico Madrid. Unlike at Chelsea where he appeared less convincing. Now, halfway through the journey of an 18-month loan spell in the Spanish capital, the 27-year-old forward uncovers an unpleasant twist during his time as the Blues

Morata moved to London in the summer of 2017 from Real Madrid for a fee of around 65 million euros. Unfortunately, his performance at Stamford Bridge failed to satisfy many parties, so he was loaned to Los Rojiblancos since last January.

Under the tutelage of coach Diego Simeone, the Spanish forward is enjoying his game. He has always scored goals in his last six matches. The former Juventus forward has netted 11 goals in 25 La Liga games by calendar year and has established himself as the team's main striker.

"Now I'm at Atletico and I'm happy," said Morata. Launching Football Espana, Thursday, November 14.

He then revealed how his colleagues at the Blues did not believe in his abilities which made him frustrated.

"When I was in England, sometimes I had the feeling that my team-mates were looking at me and thinking I was not doing anything useful for the team, this is driving me crazy, it was bad times for me," explained Morata.

This Real Madrid academy education then said how he often slammed his cellphone when he felt like he was playing badly. But he also did not dismiss if an injury interfered with his appearance

"There was a time when I was so angry after the game, when I slammed the phone against the wall because I didn't play well.

"There are also times where I hurt my back, and when I play I feel pain and this makes me frustrated."
