JAKARTA - The togetherness of the team from Malaysia, RNF Racing, will end. Starting from MotoGP 2023, RNF will become Aprilia Racing's satellite team.

As reported by the official MotoGP website, RNF Racing will work closely with Aprilia for the next two seasons. However, there is an option to extend it for another two years.

CEO and Founder of RNF Racing, Razlan Razali, said he was delighted to be signing a long-term partnership with Aprilia.

"Our philosophy remains to work with the factory team to develop drivers who will one day become Aprilia drivers. We will assist them in development to ensure we continue to be competitive," said Razali.

Razali then thanked Yamaha for cooperating in the last few years. He emphasized that the RNF will remain focused on this season to improve results with Yamaha and close the 2022 MotoGP in a good way.

Aprilia's CEO, Massimo Rivola, is also pleased with the agreement with RNF. He emphasized that together with the Malaysian team, Aprilia found partners to enhance and appreciate the extraordinary legacy left before.

"We always think in small steps and as we show the competitiveness of our RS-GP, a natural part of the journey is to see two more Aprilia bikes on track," he said.

"We are of course thinking about the best drivers and competitiveness, but also raising a new generation of engineers, technicians and managers. To continue and improve the tradition of Aprilia Racing's great, all-Italian, Aprilia boss continued.
