No Entry Tickets, Hundreds Of Enthusiastic Residents Watch The Opening Of The SEA Games From Outside My Dinh National Stadium

JAKARTA - Hundreds of residents were enthusiastic about watching the opening of the 2021 SEA Games, even though they were only from outside the My Dinh National Stadium, Hanoi, Thursday night, because they did not have entrance tickets.

Quoted from Antara, Duong van Doan, a resident of Hanoi, admitted that he prefers to watch the opening of the SEA Games from outside because it is free.

Meanwhile, if you enter or watch from inside the stadium, Duong has to spend to buy a ticket for 300,000 Dong.

According to Duong who lives in Me Tri, Nam Tu Liem, Hanoi, the opening of the SEA Games this time was quite good and lively.

The friendly man was grateful for the opening of the SEA Games because it made his country visited by many people.

Duong is not alone, Vu van Anh also admits that he prefers to watch from outside the stadium because he doesn't have to pay.

"No have money," he said, smiling.

Meanwhile, Luong Chi Hieu, a resident of Hanoi who was met outside the stadium also said he was happy with the SEA Games

Luong is happy that many people from outside Vietnam are visiting his country, and at the same time being able to practice his English skills.

The SEA Games officially started on May 12-23 2022 by competing in 40 sports, but some sports have started since May 6.

The opening of the 2021 SEA Games will be held at My Dinh National Stadium, Thursday night, around 20.00 local time.

There are 11 countries in Southeast Asia participating in the SEA Games, namely Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines, Cambodia, Myanmar, Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia, Laos, Timor Leste, and Vietnam as the host.
