Two Times Breaking North Macedonia's Goal Did Not Make Jack Brown Complacent

JAKARTA - Indonesia U-19 national team striker Jack Brown admits he is not satisfied despite scoring two goals in a test match against North Macedonia in Croatia on Sunday.

The Lincoln City player in England said his performance was far from good.

"There are still shortcomings that need to be fixed," said Jack as quoted by Antara , Monday.

The 18-year-old player emphasized that he would continue to work hard to improve his performance and complete all the training menus given by the coach with discipline and strong determination.

"You must always focus, work hard and have the spirit to undergo training and test matches here," he said.

Of the nine trial matches that the U-19 national team has passed in Croatia, Jack Brown has only appeared twice.

Having suffered an injury that made him have to rest for several days, Jack played for the first time in the sixth trial match of the U-19 national team against Bosnia-Herzegovina which Indonesia won 1-0 for 45 minutes.

Meanwhile, against North Macedonia, Jack Brown who entered from the bench scored two goals to bring the U-19 national team to win 4-1.

The U-19 national team has been in Croatia since the end of August 2020 to undergo a training camp (TC).

During TC in Croatia, the U-19 national team has undergone nine trial matches with four wins, two draws and three defeats.

This series of training in Croatia is a preparation for the U-19 Asian Cup early 2021 in Uzbekistan.

The U-19 national team is projected to appear at the U-20 World Cup from 20 May to 12 June 2021 in Indonesia.
