VAR Intervention And Barca Player's Fatal Mistake In The Semifinal Supercopa De Espana

JAKARTA - Antoine Griezmann is frustrated by Barcelona's defeat to Atletico Madrid in the semifinals of the Supercopa de Espana which will be held in Saudi Arabia, Thursday, January 9 evening. After winning 2-1, Los Blaugrana beat 2-3.

In this match, the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) canceled two goals from Ernesto Valverde's men. But Griezmann didn't want to use that as an excuse.

"The existence of VAR is to help. Sometimes it helps you, sometimes it doesn't," he added.

VAR recorded eight of us intervening in the match, two of which were linked to goals scored by Los Blaugrana. Lionel Messi's goal was canceled due to handball, 13 minutes later it was Gerard Pique's turn that was not allowed because Arturo Vidal, who gave the assist, was declared offside.
