Make Sure Real Madrid Is Ready For Sevilla, Ancelotti: We Have An Advantage, But Want To Get Points

JAKARTA - Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti ensures his team is ready to face Sevilla when the two teams meet in Week 32 of the Spanish League at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium, Seville, Sunday evening local time.

Quoted by Antara from the club's official website on Sunday, Ancelotti said that Real Madrid are currently in good form and have had enough time to rest after playing in the Champions League in the middle of last week.

In addition, Ancelotti said his team had prepared themselves to face Sevilla because he realized they were a formidable opponent.

"Sevilla have good qualities, both individually and as a team. We are aware physically and mentally that we are getting closer to the end of the season and that every game is very important, including the match against Sevilla," said Ancelotti.

The Italian coach explained that, despite only playing on Tuesday, his team was able to recover well and were ready to face Sevilla.

Ancelotti went on to say that at the moment Real Madrid wants to get the three points from all the remaining games in La Liga this season to ensure they come out victorious and many people are waiting for the moment where they slip.

"The race for the La Liga title is still wide open. We have an advantage, but we want to pick up points tomorrow and in the next game between now and the end of the season," explained Ancelotti.

"We could end up slipping in every game we play. Sevilla is still in the title race or finishing in the top four. We recognize their strengths and are ready."
