Premier League Results: Conceded In The Last Minute Of The Second Half, Tottenham Hotspur Defeated By Brighton 0-1

JAKARTA - Brighton & Hove Albion defeated Tottenham Hotspur 0-1 in the 33rd matchday of the English Premier League at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday night WIB, according to the official English Premier League website, as quoted by Antara.

Brighton's goal was scored by Leandro Trossard in dramatic fashion towards the end of the game.

The defeat made Tottenham still stuck in fourth place in the Premier League standings with 57 points. While Brighton rose to 10th position with 40 points from 32 matches.

Tottenham were made difficult by Brighton from the start because the visitors appeared disciplined.

Although Tottenham could press in the early minutes, there were no chances that endangered Brigthon's goal, which was escorted by Robert Sanchez. On the other hand, the visitors were able to threaten Hugo Lloris' goal several times.

Brighton created several chances, but have not yielded results. While Tottenham struggled to build their attack because it was held in midfield.

Towards the end of the first half, Brighton created an opportunity through Enock Mwepu's on goal effort. Lloris can still anticipate his right foot kick and the 0-0 score lasted until the break.

After halftime, Tottenham tried to immediately press. In the 51st minute, Son Heung-min got a chance with a left-footed shot in the penalty box, but his effort was blocked by a Brighton player.

Tottenham finally conceded in the 89th minute. Trossard can grab a wild ball in the penalty box and carry the ball on the left side of the Tottenham goal.

He then fired home a precise shot at the far right post, which Lloris missed and made it 1-0 before the game ended for Brighton to win.
