JAKARTA – Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has reportedly divorced his wife Sissi. They separated after 13 years of marriage.

According to a number of British media reports, Tuchel and Sissi reportedly want an amicable separation. They had tried to keep their marriage lasting, but to no avail.

"This is very sad and at this time everything is just making sure their daughter is the top priority. Divorce papers were filed last week," said a source as reported by the Mirror.

Tuchel and Sissi married in 2009. They have two daughters from this marriage.

Sissi was seen hugging her husband at the Estadio do Dragao in Porto last May after Chelsea beat Manchester City in the Champions League final.

Sissi moved to England in August or about seven months after Tuchel was appointed as coach of the Blues. In England he stayed in hotels before they bought the family home in Cobham, Surrey.

Tuchel has received much praise in recent weeks for his efforts to overcome the crisis at Chelsea.

The Blues currently operate under a special license which caused their revenue stream to falter after owner Roman Abramovich was sanctioned by the British government.

Chelsea suffered an embarrassing 4-1 home defeat to west London rivals Brentford on Saturday. However, they are still in third place in the standings, behind Manchester City and Liverpool.
