Sergio Busquets Talks About Lionel Messi's Chances Of Returning To Barcelona: It's Very Difficult, But We'll Make A Way

JAKARTA - Lionel Messi made a surprise in August 2021. He decided to leave Barcelona and chose to join Paris Saint-Germain.

However, it has not been a year since Messi has played in the French League, the issue of the player returning to Barcelona has spread. It is reported that the Argentinian player does not feel at home at PSG and is starting to think about moving.

Barcelona is said to be one of the clubs that can accommodate Messi. There's also Manchester City, or his boyhood club, Newell's Old Boys.

Barcelona midfielder Sergio Busquets said he was happy if Messi chose to return to Camp Nou. However, he considers it difficult to happen because Messi is now under contract with another club.

"It was very difficult because he had a contract with another team and it was very difficult because of how he got out of here," Busquets told Mundo Deportivo.

"A coach like Xavi just says that the door is open, imagine a close friend and colleague like me. If he comes, we will make a way and let him come," he continued.

Besides Messi, the player who has recently been linked with Barcelona is Franck Kessie. Regarding this player, Busquets gave a signal that the AC Milan player would soon join.

"He has to adapt to the coach, who has seen his ability and signed him. I am happy to have a strong and strong team and people who want to come here," said Busquets.

"I've seen him play. He's physically strong, doesn't lose the ball often, and holds the ball well. I'm sure he will do well and help us."
