Inaugurated The PSSI Medical Center, Menpora: First In History

JAKARTA - Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora) Zainudin Amali inaugurated the PSSI Medical Center located at GBK Arena, Senayan on Monday, March 14 afternoon.

On that occasion, the Minister of Youth and Sports said that the procurement of the PSSI Media Center was the first time in nearly 92 years that PSSI was established. This will also not be realized if there is no request from the Indonesian Football Association (PSSI).

"Throughout the history of PSSI, only now has a medical center, that's because of its chairman, Mochamad Iriawan. He asked, yes, we will facilitate it, but if it is not asked, it will not happen suddenly. So once again, thank you," said Zainudin Amali in his speech.

The Minister of Youth and Sports also said that the PSSI Medical Center was a tangible manifestation of the synergy between the government and the federation. What the Minister of Youth and Sports has done is a form of support from the government in order to encourage the development of sports to the fullest.

"I think the synergy between the PSSI and the government can now be seen as extraordinary," he said.

"We provide support but our support is according to the rules. So it's not because we provide support that we break the rules, no. So I thank the PSSI for meeting government standards," continued the Minister of Youth and Sports.

Lastly, Menpora hopes that the PSSI Medical Center can be utilized optimally for the progress and development of athletes and sports in the country. Moreover, this is a form of full support from the government.

"I hope this (Medical Centre) can be utilized optimally. The government also provides full support in the management of the Medical Center," he explained.

"Thank you and congratulations on the inauguration and hopefully this facility can be used as much as possible for the development of sports," concluded the Menpora.

Although this Medical Center is intended for the PSSI, in the future this facility can also be used for all athletes outside the auspices of the PSSI. Apart from being the first, this Medical Center also has the most up-to-date technology in Southeast Asia.
