JAKARTA - Michael Gerard 'Mike' Tyson, is a man of many talents after winning the heavyweight title twice in the 1980s and becoming one of the youngest fighters to ever do so.

The feat was achieved by Iron Mike - his nickname - on November 22, 1986 when he defeated Trevor Berbick when he was only 20 years and four months old. However, that was about 36 years ago.

In 1992, just six years after that success, Tyson was sentenced to 10 years in prison for the rape of 18-year-old model, Desiree Washington.

His good behavior behind bars meant he was free after a little over three years, and he was back in the ring at the age of 30.

Evander Holyfield defeated him just months after he returned. The rematch was then held with the famous incident where Tyson bit Holyfield's ear.

He was punished with a 12-month ban and did not return to the ring until the age of 35 when he lost again. This time it was Lennox Lewis.

Tyson later retired at the age of 38, announcing that he was bankrupt in 2003, having lost a fortune that was once worth $300 million.

After retiring and stumbling across drug, fighting, and women-related legal cases, he published an autobiography in 2013, entitled Undisputed Truth.

He has also starred in documentaries, such as Fallen Champ: The Untold Story of Mike Tyson (1993) and Tyson (2008).

In addition, he also made cameo appearances in the films Black and White (1999), Rocky VI (2006), The Hangover (2009), The Hangover Part II (2011) and Ip Man 3 (2015).

After the legalization of marijuana in California in 2016, the former boxer who also nicknamed Concrete Neck founded Tyson Ranch, a company that sells marijuana grown on his plantations.

According to the Cheat Sheet, Tyson makes $500,000 per month from this company. Although previously he admitted to spending 40,000 dollars (Rp 576 million) on marijuana that he consumed alone with friends.
