JAKARTA - Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) fighter, Conor McGregor, has revealed his interest in buying Chelsea. Gregor expressed this desire after Roman Abramovich decided to sell the club nicknamed The Blues.

The desire is implied from the upload McGregor shared on his Twitter account. In the upload, McGregor shows a screenshot of his conversation with someone.

"Chelsea sold for £3 billion, let's buy it," McGregor said in a message to someone.

Accompanying this upload, McGregor also wrote a statement which also mentioned the account belonging to Chelsea. He hopes to develop the club from London.

“I hope to be able to develop this. @ChelseaFC," McGregor wrote in the caption.

This is not the first time McGregor has wanted to buy a football club. Previously, he had stated that he would acquire Manchester United when Ed Woodward left his position as club president.

Chelsea is in a sale status at the moment. Roman Abramovich has reportedly been offered to three potential buyers.

One of them is a successful businessman from Switzerland. However, until now there has been no official statement from the club regarding the planned sale.
