Europa League Result Recap: Lazio Vs Porto And Dortmund Vs Rangers Both Draw 2-2

JAKARTA - The Europa League competition will enter the round of 16, after the play-off match which was held on Friday, February 25 in the early hours of WIT resulted in a number of teams who managed to pocket tickets for the next round.

One that is certain to have a place in the last 16 of the Europa League is Porto. The Portuguese club secured a ticket to the advanced stages after playing away to the Stadio Olimpico which is Lazio's home ground.

In that match, Lazio as the host actually opened the scoring first, but the final result showed the score was 2-2 for both teams. Despite the draw, Porto was decided to qualify because they won 3-4 on aggregate thanks to a 2-1 win in the previous party.

Meanwhile, from other matches, Borussia Dortmund felt a different fate. Marco Rose's club had to lift their suitcases and give up hope of advancing to the round of 16.

The harsh reality was experienced after they were held to a 2-2 draw with Rangers at the Ibrox Stadium. Despite playing quite well but Dortmund's aggregate final result did not help, a 2-4 defeat in the previous match made their aggregate number far adrift, namely 4-6, which was superior to Rangers.
