Aleix Espargaro Masters Day One Of 2022 MotoGP Pre-Season Test At Sepang

JAKARTA - The 2022 MotoGP pre-season test was completed at the Sepang Circuit, Malaysia. In this first day's session, Aleix Espargaro managed to dominate the race.

The Aprilia factory racer has successfully topped the Sepang 2022 MotoGP pre-season test standings after going through eight race sessions. On the last lap, Espargaro managed to record a time of 1 minute 58,371 seconds.

That record also made Espargaro able to smoke his team-mate, Maverick Vinales, who closed the test in second place in the standings.

In the previous session, Vinales was only able to finish in third place, but this time he succeeded in shifting Enea Bastianini, who is a Gresini Ducati rider.

While last season's world champion, Fabio Quartararo, who was the representative of the Yamaha Monster Energy manufacturer, was able to improve his appearance. Had bounced far to 10th position in the early round, Quartararo then closed the final round in 6th position.

Another racer, Francesco Bagnaia, who represented Ducati Lenovo, was unable to show his class. Bagnaia, who previously sat in 15th place, has now slipped further to 19th in the last session of the race.

Then, Francesco Bagnaia's teammate, Jack Miller, also has not been able to show his slick appearance. Just like Bagnaia who slipped, Miller, who was previously in 15th place, then slumped to 22nd position in the standings in the last session of the race.
