This Season, New Coach Ansan Greeners Will Turn Asnawi A Winger

JAKARTA - Ansan Greeners coach, Cho Min Kook revealed his plan to make Asnawi Mangkualam as the team's winger this season. This is considered the coach will help the development of Asnawi.

Reporting from Chosun, Cho Min Kook is the new coach of Ansan Greeners after Kim Gil Sik resigned. Under his authority, Min Kook already has a special plan for Asnawi by changing his playing position in the team for this season.

"I have been monitoring Asnawi's performances since last season. This season I decided to make Asnawi a winger," said Cho Min Kook, quoted from Chosun.

It was previously known that Asnawi was a player who occupied the right-back position in his first season with Ansan Greeners. While in that position, the Indonesian national team defender managed to create 1 assist from 14 appearances with Ansan.

Regarding his decision to change Asnawi's playing position, Cho Min Kook believes Asnawi will make a more significant contribution if he becomes a winger. That way, Asnawi can focus more on building attacks.

"I think it will be good for Asnawi to improve his attacking abilities, even for the Indonesian national team," said Cho Min Kook.

"If Asnawi plays in a position that makes him comfortable, I think we can achieve better results. I think defensive tactics are very important for us in 90 minutes of play," he explained.
