Disentil Persebaya, Managing Director Of PT LIB: We Are Going To Surabaya

JAKARTA - Persebaya Surabaya flicked the Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) and PT Liga Indonesia Baru (LIB) during the COVID-19 swab test on Thursday, August 27. The manager of Persebaya, Candra Wahyudi, said that this test was carried out by Persebaya because there were no detailed instructions regarding the team's preparation ahead of training until now from PSSI and PT LIB.

In fact, Persebaya really hopes that PSSI and PT Liga will immediately make clear rules. However, because there was no certainty, Persebaya finally took the initiative by holding its own test.

This step is recognized as an effort by the management to ensure the condition of Persebaya players is good. The result later could be one of the reasons for the club management nicknamed Bajul Ijo to continue team activities.

PT LIB responded to this sentilan from Persebaya. President Director of PT LIB, Akhmad Hadian Lukita, said that what was conveyed by the Persebaya management was an internal discussion. In the near future, PT LIB will hold a meeting with Persebaya.

"We detailed the health protocol and in the near future we will go to Surabaya to meet the East Java Muspida as well as to meet Persebaya," said Akhmad Hadian to VOI, Friday.

Akhmad Hadian also revealed that his party would hold a medical workshop which would be attended by PSSI, PT LIB, clubs and other related parties. This activity will be held in mid-September.

"There will be explained in great detail and complete," he said.

The Managing Director of PT LIB also stated that his party was still communicating with Persebaya. The operator of this national soccer competition remains confident that Bajul Ijo will participate in the League 1 continuation which will be held in early October.
