JAKARTA - Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora) Zainudin Amali officially launched the Indonesian Education Sports Journal (JOPI) virtually on Thursday, December 30.

With the launch of JOPI, it is hoped that Menpora can be a source of reference for the government in making policies. As well as being a forum for researchers to display their best scientific writings. So that the work can be a source of information and reference for various parties.

"For the government, (JOPI) is certainly needed to become a reference for the formulation of sports sector policies," said the Minister of Youth and Sports.

According to the Minister of Youth and Sports, the development of information and science and technology in the field of sports has been very rapid, and the existence of JOPI is expected to help gather information. Because Ami said things that were understood moments before would definitely be different from the facts that exist today, tomorrow and so on.

"This is where it is important that we have one medium, to get information and at the same time as a reference when we carry out our activities, tasks, activities as sports stakeholders," he explained.

Menpora acknowledged that there will be many parties who wish to publish their works in JOPI later. However, he also emphasized that quality and management must be considered in order to maintain quality so that public trust, especially sports stakeholders, is increasing day by day.
