JAKARTA - Three more Australian League (A-League) matches have been postponed due to COVID-19 cases, the Australian Professional League (APL) said on Wednesday.

The Central Coast Mariners' encounter with Macarthur FC on Friday, Saturday's game between Newcastle Jets and Melbourne City, and Sunday's clash between Melbourne Victory and Brisbane Roar have all been postponed.

"Our primary concern is the health, well-being and safety of all players, staff and their families," APL said in a statement.

"All positive cases and those close to them are following the relevant state government health directives, in close consultation with the A-League.

"We will continue to work with all the clubs involved to confirm the new schedule for the postponed matches as soon as possible."

Sydney FC's match with Perth Glory has been postponed.
