Persija's President Said About The Club's Parting With Yann Motta: Not An Easy Decision

JAKARTA - Persija Jakarta officially bid farewell to one of its foreign pillars ahead of the second half of the 2021/2022 Liga 1 season. The player released by the Kemayoran Tigers was Yann Motta.

The news of this separation was conveyed by Persija through their official Instagram page on Thursday, December 23. In the upload, Mohammad Prapanca also expressed his appreciation.

The Persija president also admitted that it was not an easy decision to part with Yan Motta. However, Prapanca then thanked Motta for the contribution that Motta had given to the Kemayoran Tigers so far.

"It was not an easy decision and this is purely because of the team's decision," Prapanca said in his statement.

"On behalf of the team, I would like to thank Yann Motta for his service while wearing the Kemayoran Tiger uniform," he continued.

Remembering being together with Motta, Prapanca also admitted that the Brazilian defender was actually a player with good performance. Therefore, Prapanca also hopes that after this Motta can be successful at his new club.

"Yann (Motta) is a good player and a great person. Good luck at the next club," said Prapanca again, on Persija's Instagram.

The farewell statement to Motta, which Persija shared on his Instagram account, received various responses from netizens and other Persija players. They also prayed for Motta's success.

"Good luck in your new place," said Rohit Chand.

"See you again, good luck always, my friend," said Otavio Dutra.

"Best wishes for your career, good luck always," replied Renan Silva, who is also a former Persija player.
