Miami Heat Is Too Strong For Chicago Bulls, Win By 118-92

JAKARTA - Duncan Robinson scored a season-high 26 points and Kyle Lowry added a game-high assist, 14, to lead the hosts Miami Heat to a 118-92 win over the Chicago Bulls on Saturday night (Sunday CEST).

Robinson also played his 174th consecutive game in the regular season, equaling the franchise record set by Glen Rice from 1992 to 1994.

Chicago's Zach LaVine scored the game's highest score, 33 points, making 11 of 20 attempts on court, including 7 of 11 three-pointers.

Lowry scored 16 points on 6 of 10 shooting, including 4 of 5 trips. He contributed 12 assists in the first half. The Heat's record for assists in the first half is 13 by Jason Williams. Lowry finished the game with just two turnovers.

Robinson made 9 of 13 shots, including 5 of 9 triple shots.

Heat center Dewayne Dedmon, starting for the injured Bam Adebayo, scored a double-double with 20 points and 12 rebounds.

Apart from Adebayo, Miami is still without Jimmy Butler (tailbone injury).

Chicago played despite seven of its players under COVID protocol, including Ayo Dosunmu and Stanley Johnson, who were added to the roster ahead of Saturday's game. They join Bulls star DeMar DeRozan and four other Chicago players on the COVID roster.

The Bulls, however, got Alex Caruso back from a hamstring injury, and he started and scored six points in 27 minutes.

Miami's Caleb Martin, who is on a two-way deal, was added to the list of COVID protocols. It was a tough break for Martin, who scored a career-high 28 points against the Bucks on Wednesday.

Robinson scored 13 points in the first quarter as the Heat ended the period with a 39-25 lead. Miami shot 60 percent from the field, including 9 of 14 three-pointers. Herro hit a three-pointer just as the buzzer rang to end the quarter.

Chicago cut its deficit by just one point, trailing 65-52 at half-time. In the first half, Miami shot 52.2 percent from the field, including 13 of 23 three-pointers (56.5 percent).

LaVine led all scorers in the first half with 21 points, including 5 of 6 three-pointers.

Miami led 86-70 after three quarters, never being challenged in the fourth, finished the game on 44.2 percent of three-pointers (19 of 43).
