JAKARTA - Olympique Lyon was sentenced to a point deduction by the French League (LFP) operator as a result of their fans' behavior which led to the postponement of matchday 14 against Marseille at the Groupama Stadium on November 21 last.
The decision announced on the LFP's official website on Thursday morning also stated that matches would be played again from the first second behind closed doors at Groupama Stadium, with the schedule to follow.
The penalty does not change the position of Lyon who are in 12th place in the standings and now only have 22 points from 16 matches.

The Lyon vs Marseille match on November 21 lasted just five minutes when Dimitri Payet was targeted by the home fans with drinks packaging, while preparing to take a corner.
Payet fell and then received medical attention, before all the players from both teams left the field and entered the locker room.
The home players then had time to warm up after things calmed down and prepared to resume the match, but Jorge Sampaoli did not allow his team to return to the pitch.
Later the referee decided the match did not meet the safety requirements to continue, making it the second Ligue 1 match this season to be suspended or even postponed due to fan behavior.
OGC Nice had previously been handed two points, one of which was suspended, after their fans burst onto the pitch and attacked Marseille's players in August.
