JAKARTA - French midfielder Blaise Matuidi officially moved to Major League Soccer (MLS). He joined David Beckham's club, Inter Miami.
"Blaise is one of the most successful midfielders of his generation, and we are delighted to have signed him for Inter Miami," said Inter Miami sporting director Paul McDOnough as quoted by Antara, Friday, August 14.

Matuidi spent three seasons at Juventus after being signed from Paris St Germain (PSG), where he briefly played with Beckham. During his time in the Bianconeri shirt, he won the league title every season and proved to be an important part of the Juve squad.
In all, Matuidi made 133 appearances for Juve. Matuidi also led his team to win the Italian Cup title and Italian Super Cup, and helped the French national team win the 2018 World Cup.
Matuidi, 33, made 45 appearances for Juve in the 2019/2020 season. Inter Miami will hope that the arrival of their new player will have a significant impact on their play.

Beckham himself warmly welcomed the arrival of his former teammate.

Inter Miami have lost six of the six league games played since joining the competition at the start of the season.
