JAKARTA - Lille midfielder Renato Sanches hinted at offers from big European clubs, such as AC Milan and Arsenal, to French media L'Equipe.

"Maybe Milan and Arsenal are interested, but I don't know. Milan is a big and historic club. Classy, I like them," said Renato Sanches quoting Antara, Tuesday.

The Portuguese midfielder also admitted that he had spoken to his agent and said there were several clubs interested in using his services, but he could not reveal the identity of the club.

Even so, Renato Sanches ensures that he is ready if an offer comes in, and he will look for the best club to continue his career.

"I spoke to my agent, I know which clubs are calling and which are not, but I can't tell right now. But I know I am ready if an offer comes, I will find out what is best for me," explained Renato Sanches.

Some time ago, it was reported that AC Milan had made an official offer to sign midfielder Renato Sanches from LOSC Lille in the January transfer window. AC Milan will compete with Arsenal who are also preparing to make an official offer.

AC Milan's move in bringing in Renato Sanches from LOSC Lille was allegedly an anticipation of losing Franck Kessie, who until now has not wanted to extend his contract with the Rossonerri.

Previously, Renato Sanches was often linked with other big European clubs, and last summer Barcelona had made an offer to Lille.

With LOSC Lille, Renato Sanches made 67 appearances and recorded five goals and six assists since arriving from Bayern Munich in August 2019. Renato Sanches also contributed to the French League title and French Super Cup.
