Formula E Boss Alejandro Agag Positive For COVID-19

JAKARTA - The founder and president of the Formula E car racing series, Alejandro Agag, is known to have tested positive for COVID-19. This was announced through his personal Instagram account, after the E-Prix race series in Berlin.

Quoted from Antara, the Spanish businessman tested positive for the corona virus upon arrival in Berlin, Germany to attend the ceremony before the start of the electric car racing event.

"It's sad to have to miss the first Formula E race. I can only watch it through the window of a hotel room in Berlin," Agag said in a post on Instagram, Thursday, August 6.

Agag became the second person who was known to be positive for COVID-19, after the Formula E event was held again.

In fact, at today's race in Tempelhof, Berlin, Germany, 1,421 crew and participants have taken a series of COVID-19 screening tests. The racing event also took place without the presence of spectators.
