LIB Says Spectator Trial At Liga 1 Stadium Requires Separate Permission From The Police

JAKARTA - PT Liga Indonesia Baru (LIB) President Director, Akhmad Hadian Lukita, said that the implementation of the audience trial at the 2021-2022 Liga 1 stadium, which is planned for December 2021, requires permission from the National Police Headquarters.

"It needs a separate permit because the previous permit for Liga 1 was to take place without spectators", said Akhmad Hadian, as quoted by Antara, Thursday.

The permit referred to by the man from West Java is the Police permit for the implementation of Liga 1 and 2 in August 2021.

Akhmad Hadian emphasized that his party would coordinate with all parties before conducting the trial, especially with the government.

Currently, he continued, LIB is still refining the information technology system needed to make the trial of spectators at the stadium a success. There is a special team from the internal LIB that was formed to do that.

"This week, the team will present the results of their work to the LIB directory. Now it's all in the final stages. After that we will report it to the government", said Akhmad Hadian.

LIB plans to test the presence of spectators at the 2021-2022 Liga 1 stadium in December 2021 or during Serie III Liga 1 at the Manahan Stadium, Solo.

Later, the spectators who were in the stadium during the trial period were the invitees, which numbered around 100-200 people.

The Indonesian government itself has allowed trials of spectators at Liga 1 stadiums through the Instruction of the Minister of Home Affairs Number 60 of 2021 concerning the Enforcement of Restrictions on Community Activities Level 3, Level 2, and Level 1 Coronavirus Disease 2019 in the Java and Bali Regions issued on November 15, 2021.

In the Instruction of the Minister of Home Affairs, the government allows an audience of 25 percent of the maximum capacity of the stadium or a maximum of five thousand people to attend the trial.

The government requires all spectators to be "green" in the Peduli Protect application before entering the match arena.

Regarding the trial of spectators at the stadium, the government limits the activity to only one match, which is determined by PSSI and PT LIB, every week.
