JAKARTA - The training camp (TC) for the senior national team and U-19 Indonesia has not yet started. The coaching team is still waiting for the final swab test results before starting training. They don't want to concede and make sure the players are clean from COVID-19.

It is not yet known exactly when training started. The players are currently still at the hotel where they are staying. However, the coaching team has prepared an agenda for the Garuda squad.

"The players train independently at the hotel. Technically, please ask the coach Nova (Arianto)," said Media Officer for the Indonesian national team, Bandung Saputra, to VOI.

VOI then asked coach Nova for information. However, he could not provide an answer when asked about the players' activities while waiting for the TC to start. The former Persib Bandung and Sriwijaya FC player could not comment on the TC schedule for the Indonesian national team, both in Jakarta and South Korea.

"All statements are now from coach Shin (Tae-yong)," he said.

Previously it was reported, PSSI General Chairman Mochamad Iriawan said the results of the swab test could not be known quickly because it involved nearly 100 people, both players and coaches. He emphasized that the TC will only start after the test results are known. This was according to a request from Shin Tae-yong.

PSSI, said Iriawan, handed over all training programs to the former South Korean national team coach. He asked the players to carry out the program with high responsibility and enthusiasm.

"What is clear is that even though he hasn't practiced in the field, coach Shin Ta-yong also provides training programs to players while at the hotel," said the man who is familiarly called Iwan Bule.
