JAKARTA - Repsol Honda team racer, Marc Marquez had to miss the Algarve 2021 MotoGP series last week. Marquez's absence is known because he suffered an injury during off-road practice before going down the race.

Based on the results of the examination of the doctor who handled him, Marquez suffered a concussion. But not only that, other riders revealed the conditions experienced by Marquez.

“No one has definitive information about how the accident happened. Maybe Marquez's hand is broken too. One thing is for sure, he is not here because he has a concussion," said Espargaro.

Espargaro also said that if his condition was not severe, Marquez would definitely try hard to keep participating in the race. But in reality, he is absent from the MotoGP Algarve 2021.

"At the same time, Marc (Marquez) usually does anything to follow the race," he continued.

If what Espargaro said is true, it is not impossible that the rider with the number 93 will need quite a long time to recover.

Last season, Marquez was also absent from the race for a long time due to injury. If conditions get worse, Marquez may choose to retire earlier.
