Asked About The Possibility Of Becoming A Ducati Racer Coach, Casey Stoner: It's Not As Easy As It Sounds

JAKARTA - Former Ducati racer Casey Stoner is still actively monitoring the development of MotoGP which is currently underway. He was also briefly mentioned about the possibility of becoming a coach, but Casey turned out to have an answer of his own.

Casey Stoner was recently seen attending the Portimao Circuit to witness the 2021 Algarve MotoGP event live. Not only was he present as a spectator, he also took time to tour the Ducati paddock, the manufacturer he had defended.

While walking around, Stoner also did not forget to greet other Ducati racers such as Jack Miller and Francesco Bagnaia. The situation also made him remember the moment three years ago when he was still part of Ducati.

Reporting from Crush, the moment then raised questions about Casey Stoner's chances of becoming a coach to treat homesickness. Responding to that, Stoner admitted that it was not easy to determine the answer.

For him, the offer to become a coach is a very interesting thing to discuss. However, he also admits there is another side that makes him unable to accept the offer easily.

"It's not as easy as it sounds. I still have family in Australia and if I become a coach it will be away from my family for a long time," said Casey Stoner.

"I've discussed this with my wife. It's an interesting situation, because I actually want to do it, but on the other hand I also don't want to do it," he added.

Although he admits that it is not easy for him to become a coach, Stoner, who was first involved in the world of ballat, is not stingy with knowledge. He even had time to provide motivation to encourage the drivers who are currently still part of Ducati.

"I think the riders have to be more diligent. Ducati needs more texture, an easier motorbike package," said the Australian passport man.

"But actually they are very close about that, you think if everything stabilizes then he (Pecco) will be champion."
