LeBron James Scores Decisive Point As Lakers Beat The Clippers

JAKARTA - Basketball player LeBron James did a buzzer beater in the last seconds of the match. The Los Angeles Lakers 103-101 won over the Los Angeles Clippers.

According to Antara, the match marked the resumption of the NBA season which was suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This match is played at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, Orlando, Florida, United States, Friday 31 July.

During the game, Anthony Davis scored 34 points and made eight rebounds for the Lakers, and James finished with 16 points, 11 rebounds and seven assists. In that match, James only scored six points from his 19 shots.

Kyle Kuzma added 16 points for the Lakers, who now have a 50-14 record. The Lakers are now 6 1/2 games ahead of the Clippers (44-21) in the Western Conference standings.

Paul George had 30 points for the Clippers, but failed as he attempted to score a three-point shot near the end of the game. Kawhi Leonard finished with 28 points, Patrick Beverly added 12, and Reggie Jackson had ten points.

Unfortunately the Clippers played without two of their mainstay defenders, namely Lou Williams and Montrezl Harrell. Until a third of the round, the two teams competed fiercely for points.

Both teams showed a dullness after four months of not playing a competitive match. The Clippers made 22 turnovers, compared to 16 for the Lakers. The Lakers were able to lock in the win despite recording only 39 percent of successful shots, compared to the Clippers' 43.2 percent success.
