JAKARTA - Real Madrid have announced that they have reached an agreement with Qatari club Al-Gharafa SC for Joselu Mato's transfer.
Madrid must make Joselu permanent from RCD Espanyol by redeeming a release clause of 1.5 million euros (around Rp26 billion) before selling it to Al-Gharafa at the same price.
"Real Madrid CF, after the option of redeeming Joselu Mato's release clause from RCD Espanyol, has reached an agreement with Al-Gharafa SC for the transfer of our players," Madrid said on the official website on Saturday.
During the 2023-2024 season, Joselu became one of the important players of the Real Madrid squad. He has played 49 games, scored 18 goals and helped the club win three titles, namely the Champions League, Spanish League, and the Spanish Super Cup.
