JAKARTA - Bad news came from Ford who had to recall the Bronco and Escape ranks in the United States, a total of nearly 43,000 vehicles were affected.

Quoting from the USAToday page, Sunday, April 14, this recall was due to concerns about the fuel injector component that could crack and leakage in the engine room that could cause a fire.

According to data from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), this recall is for the 2022-2023 Bronco Sport and Escape 2022 models with 1.5 L engines.

Ford in collaboration with NHTSA has conducted an investigation into the problem. There are five models that have problems, but it is certain that there will be no damage due to the problem.

Responding to the above problems, Ford is taking firm steps by providing information to users to be able to come to the official dealer network to solve the problem.

Later, Ford will install a drain tube as well as update the engine control software, to reduce pressure in the fuel injection system, as soon as the software will disable high-pressure fuel pumps, reduce engine power and reduce temperature in the engine room.

Good news is that the users of the two models mentioned above do not need to pay at all, aka free.

As additional information, the recent recall is an expansion of Ford created in 2022 due to similar issues.
