JAKARTA - BYD continues to gain global recognition from government leaders, its presence at international auto shows, to the direct experience of users who are also automotive experts. President Director of PT BYD Motor Indonesia, Eagle Zhao, expressed confidence in electric vehicles is now not only based on claims but is increasingly formed through real proof in various countries. The trust in BYD Sealion 7 is also reflected through its use by the Prime Minister of Thailand, Anutin Charnvirakul, who chose this vehicle as a mode of transportation to Government House on March 25, 2026. The decision was made in response to global dynamics, including rising energy prices, as well as a form of support for energy efficiency policies. On that occasion, the Prime Minister also adjusted his travel pattern by not using a conventional fuel escort vehicle as usual, as a symbolic form of energy efficiency. The Prime Minister's decision to use BYD Sealion 7 is also a representation that the technology presented is able to answer the needs of modern mobility at various levels, including in government operations.
