DFSK Super Cab Becomes BNPB Water Treatment Vehicle for Disaster Response

JAKARTA - PT Sokonindo Automobile as the DFSK Brand Holder Agent in Indonesia continues to carry out cross-sector cooperation, this time partnering with the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB). The DFSK Super Cab model is used as a supporting vehicle for the water treatment unit used by BNPB in disaster management operations.

This vehicle is modified to support the distribution and processing of clean water in the affected areas, while maintaining all of its outstanding technical specifications. The use of the DFSK Super Cab as a water treatment unit shows that the Super Cab is not only reliable for commercial activities, but can also be modified for operational needs in emergency situations.

The sturdy chassis structure allows the installation of water treatment devices on the vehicle's tank safely and stably. Meanwhile, the carrying capacity of up to 1.2 tons and the high ground clearance support mobility in various disaster-affected terrain conditions.

Head of Sales & Marketing of PT Sokonindo Automobile Doni Putra Okten, explained that the strength and multifunction character are the main reasons why the Super Cab can be adapted for special needs.

"DFSK Super Cab is designed as a multifunctional vehicle with a flexible platform and sturdy construction. In addition to supporting distribution and logistics activities, this vehicle can be modified as needed, including as a water treatment unit to support BNPB operations. This proves that Super Cab has high adaptability in various field conditions," said Doni Putra Okten, when met in Jakarta, Friday, February 13.

In line with this, BNPB emphasized the importance of operational vehicles that are robust in supporting rapid response in disaster-affected areas.

"In disaster conditions, we need a strong vehicle, capable of reaching various terrains, and can carry supporting devices such as water treatment systems. This modified DFSK Super Cab helps strengthen our operational readiness," said BNPB Emergency Resources Support Expert, Maria Agustina Hutagaol.

In the future, DFSK does not rule out the possibility of presenting other modification developments according to market and institutional needs.

"Super Cab has great potential as a versatile vehicle platform, both for commercial needs, lifestyle such as camper vans, and special operational support. It is not impossible that there will be other modifications developed in the future," added Doni.
