Not Just Changing Oil, Motul Now Focuses on Overall Motor Performance

JAKARTA - PT Motul Indonesia Energy (MIE), the exclusive distributor of lubricants in Indonesia, introduces the Motul Performance Solution Program.

This strategic initiative is designed to shift people's motorcycle maintenance habits from just changing oil to a more comprehensive performance maintenance approach.

As a global brand that is closely associated with the world of motorsport and two-wheeled vehicles, Motul is now introducing a new way to reach consumers.

The goal is simple but crucial, namely to shape the mindset of vehicle owners to be more concerned about the overall health of the motorcycle, which ultimately has a direct impact on driving comfort and engine performance.

"Motul sees the still large market education opportunities related to the importance of comprehensive vehicle maintenance. Through this program, we want to introduce a new approach that not only focuses on engine oil, but also on performance supporting products through the Scooter Gear Oil, Engine Clean System, Fuel System Clean, and Brake Fluid lines as part of the Motul Performance Solution campaign," said Managing Director of PT Motul Indonesia Energy (MIE) Welmart Purba, in an official statement, Saturday, January 31.

The Motul Performance Solution program was first held in Denpasar, Bali, on January 27, 2026.

After that, this initiative is scheduled to expand to other cities in Indonesia throughout 2026.

The implementation is carried out in an integrated manner through optional workshops.

Interestingly, not all workshops can join.

Motul sets special standards, ranging from a modern and neat workshop appearance, structured work flow, to service quality that is equivalent to an official workshop.

This selective approach is part of Motul's strategy to ensure that the consumer experience remains consistent, while building a more professional motorcycle maintenance ecosystem.

"Through this Motul Performance Solution program, Motul hopes to increase consumer understanding of the importance of comprehensive vehicle maintenance," said Welmart.

"So it's not just changing the oil. In addition, of course, we hope that this program will also encourage the growth of sales of supporting products as a complete performance solution for two-wheeled vehicles in Indonesia," he explained.
