JAKARTA - The performance of Wuling Motors exports throughout 2025 shows a positive trend. Throughout last year, this diamond-five automotive manufacturer managed to produce 2,411 units of Indonesian-made vehicles to various global markets.
This figure has more than doubled compared to 2024 which was recorded at 1,101 units. This increase strengthens Indonesia's position as Wuling's strategic production base for the international market.
If in total since the export activity began in 2019 until the end of 2025, Wuling has sent 8,440 units of vehicles abroad.
By 2025, Wuling products will reach 16 target countries, ranging from Thailand, Sri Lanka, Brunei, Bangladesh, Hong Kong, the South Pacific region, Malaysia, Pakistan, Mauritius, Papua New Guinea, Zimbabwe, Bermuda, Suriname, Kenya, Zambia, to India.
Of these countries, Thailand is the largest market with a contribution of 30 percent, followed by Sri Lanka at 24 percent, Brunei 20 percent, Bangladesh 11 percent, and Hong Kong 9 percent.
The cars that Wuling sent abroad are 10 models. The models are, Air ev, BinguoEV, Cloud EV, Mitra EV, Darion, Almaz, Alvez, Cortez, Confero, and Formo.
The electric vehicle segment is the backbone of exports, with BinguoEV accounting for 52 percent of total shipments.
The Almaz model is in second place with 19 percent, followed by Cloud EV 11 percent and Alvez 7 percent. Not only relying on existing models, Wuling is also starting to introduce its latest products to the global market.
Darion officially made its international debut through its launch in Hong Kong in December 2025, marking the initial step in the model's expansion overseas.
Senior Brand Communication Manager of Wuling Motors, Brian Gomgom, emphasized that the growth in exports last year was supported by the increasing demand for electric vehicles.
"Wuling exports grew positively in 2025. The Wuling electric car product line contributed the most to this export achievement. Wuling Darion, which is Wuling's latest product, has also begun to be introduced in foreign countries, starting with the launch in Hong Kong at the end of last year," said Brian.
