JAKARTA - The Indonesian Automotive Journalists Forum (FORWOT) will again hold an annual event, namely a touring activity which will be attended by journalists from various national media on January 23-24, 2026.

This year, the event is packaged with the theme 'Indonesia's Automotive Outlook 2026', as well as aims to strengthen the ties of friendship between members while discussing the challenges of the automotive industry in 2026.

FORWOT Chairman, Arie Prasetya, stated that this touring activity is a crucial routine agenda which hopefully can add knowledge, ideas, and ideas for FORWOT members in creating works that are not only interesting but also have an impact on the national automotive industry.

The activity started from the gathering point at the Yamaha Mekar Cibinong Dealer to RDM Villa in Sentul, Bogor. Meanwhile, the route chosen was along Jalan Raya Bogor, Summarecon Sentul, Bukit Pelangi, and finished at the event location.

Furthermore, the main event is to hold an interesting discussion with speakers on products, automotive industry policies, to challenges in 2026.

The discussion resource began with the Rally Racer and Brand Ambassador of PT Mitsubishi Motors Krama Yudha Sales Indonesia (MMKSI), Rifat Sungkar, who gave his views on why the Mitsubishi Destinator is now a new primadona, especially among women.

Meanwhile, the last discussion session in the evening was attended by the Head of Marketing JAECOO Indonesia, Mohamad Ilham Pratama, who revealed JAECOO's strategies and ways to face the automotive industry challenges of 2026 in the regulatory, product, and innovation sectors.

The Executive Chairman of Touring FORWOT 2026, Jeffry Yanto Sudibyo said, the speakers who attended the discussion session had a side that was relevant to the trends and also the dynamics of the Indonesian automotive industry. Hopefully it can provide in-depth understanding for the members of FORWOT.
